My handsome boys! Today’s post on the blog is my experience with the transition from 1-2 kids vs the transition from 0-1 - link is in my bio 💙
Do you have 2+ children? What transition was the hardest for you?

I have a new post up on the blog today and have been putting them up every Tuesday if you haven’t caught it in my stories! I’m hoping blogs will make a comeback because I really love writing about all my favorites

Guest Post: My Sister's Second Stash

April 09, 2015 in Makeup

-This post was written by my sister, Taylor. Marvel at her writing skills-

So being in college is pretty great. But nothing really beats coming home after a long stretch of midterms and papers and just getting to sleep in my own bed (and being able to take a bubble bath after weeks of showering in flip flops!). When I do come home, though, I (try to) pack light, and that usually means cutting out what makeup items I bring home, especially because I know Kelsey has more than enough I can siphon off for myself. Now disclaimer here: Everything I borrow from her I ask, and I never borrow eyeliner or mascara because that’s just a bit gross, even if she is my sister.

The first thing I reach for out of Kelsey’s drawer is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation. I used this for my senior prom back in May and I still try to use it whenever Kelsey will let me. Despite my dry skin, this doesn’t make my face feel weighed down or cakey and the finish is beautiful.

The next thing I get my sticky fingers on is her Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Exposed. Now Kelsey raves about this blush so often I don’t think I really need to elaborate on how great and natural this blush looks but basically I really just need to go for it and get one of my own.

To finish the face I would be an idiot to not use her RMS Beauty Living Lumizer. I have no words for how gorgeous this is but I will try: it makes you look like a well-rested goddess. If that doesn’t sell you I don’t know what possibly could.

Next is the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in the Fallen Angel. The buttery pigments have just the perfect amount of shimmer and blend like nothing else. The quad when all the colors are used makes a complete eye look, which is all the better because, regardless of how this post makes it look, I like to try to steal as little as possible from Kelsey.

Last but not least is the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the ever-elusive shade Lolita. I have one of these but in Berlin, a brighter rose shade. After trying this on for the first time I understand why it sells out so quickly after coming back into stock. It is so flattering and chic without looking too muddy or orange-y and really does last for so long. All around amazing product and I really wish I could get my hands on one myself!
