The Beauty Crop Pucker Up & Play

December 28, 2016 in Makeup

You know me, I'm a sucker for a good lip crayon. When The Beauty Crop reached out to see if I would like to try out their limited edition Pucker Up & Play Set,* I was all ears. I had heard of the brand before and used their Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream (which was lovely), so I couldn't wait to see what these lip crayons would be like. If you're unfamiliar with them, The Beauty Crop is a 100% cruelty-free brand that aim to create products that use natural ingredients rather than unnecessary additives - many of their products use natural plant oils and extracts that will nourish the skin as you wear them.

R to L: Raisin the Roof, Peach Please, Guava Nice Day

The Pucker Up & Play Set comes with three PBJ Smoothie Sticks in super wearable, everyday shades. Raisin the Roof is a super pretty pale pink mauve that is a great "my lips but better" shade, Peach Please is the peachy pink of my dreams - normally peach tones look weird on me, but this one doesn't. And Guava Nice Day (I just love the names) is a beautiful pink berry shade - it's a little more bold than I'd typically wear day to day, but it isn't too out there. The formula is so creamy and comfortable on the lips, and they're incredibly pigmented as well - something I don't always expect from lip crayons. They feel quite balmy and nourishing on the lips, so I'm a huge fan. I've already relocated these to my purse to use day to day.

Have you tried anything from The Beauty Crop before?

*Products mentioned have been sent to me for consideration, but all opinions are my own. Please see my disclaimer for more information.
